Product Description Twelve-hour days? No problem in Dansko's flagship closed-back clog. This classic shoe is designed for maximum support and comfort. Benefits include: high quality leather upper designs that follow the natural foot contours; nonallergenic, antimicrobial socklining that absorbs and evaporates perspiration; and a polyurethane outsole that protects feet, legs, and back during long hours of standing and walking. And, of course, this shoe proudly carries the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Amazon.com Product Description If you spend long hours on your feet, you have to pick up a pair from Dansko's Stapled Clog collection. Each has a polyurethane rocker-bottom sole, designed to protect the feet, legs, and back from the stress of standing or walking, and to propel the foot forward, helping you stay on the move.

great if you are on your feet all day March 28, 2010 Maureen Sturgis (Ann Arbor, MI) This will be my 3rd color Dansko. Yhey are very comfortable for long shifts. Beware the sizing. I was torn between the 39 which I thought would work for me (9 1/2 US) but, after trying them on in a store the 40 worked much better. They took a little while to get used to but, they are worth it.
My daughter loves them January 28, 2010 Dorothy J. Pletzer I bought these as a Christmas gift for my daughter, She put them on right away. The fit was perfect and she wears them everyday.
They are cute, but they hurt my feet terribly!!! October 25, 2009 M. Lee (dallas, tx United States) I purchased these shoes based on the reviews I'd read. I am a nursing student and need good shoes. I like the way they look, but after 7 hours straight out a 12 hour shift, I was distracted by my own pain from my feet! I never thought my feet were flat or anything, but I guess these shoes have confirmed that as they hurt terribly right at the arch area. I am terribly disappointed that I did not get the enjoyment out of the shoes that others have.
Phenomenal Shoes August 24, 2009 B. Schwitzer (Savoy, IL United States) So maybe they aren't as pretty as my heels with a suit and I do feel a tad bit like I should be looking for the next clogging festival...but the way my back feels after wearing them all day is unsurpassable. I have been suffering from back problems for the last few months and I can walk with my head high again when I wear these shoes.
Best Arch Support in the World, but Beware of Tripping June 23, 2009 lawyerwhocooks (Atlanta, GA USA) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Dansko shoes, particularly the professional clogs (worn by all the nurses in my local hospital ICU, by the way) have the BEST arch support in the world, in my opinion. I have Dansko shoes in four colors, plus several different styles. I wear a size "39" (European sizing), which is somewhere between a woman's 8 1/2 and 9. The only drawback (other than the fact that they aren't very sexy) is that the thick rubber sole (which helps give the shoe the arch it needs) tends to cause me to trip and sometimes I almost twist my ankle on hardwood or tile, so be aware of this possible problem if you order a pair. As noted above, I own a lot of Dansko shoes, so don't let this problem stop you from trying a pair.
If you have plantar fasciitis or a very high arch that tends to "fall" or otherwise hurt, try Dansko, Merrell and Nike's Shox (especially the Navina model). Recommended!
